However, anyone who has attended large conventions before knows that the presence alone does not create contacts, they must be carefully planned.

This is how CONNECT convention supports: Through a tested matching system, it allows for an effective search prior to the event. Appointments will be scheduled before the convention, thus the difficult and often unsuccessful search for contacts at the event will not apply.
